Portrait Session

This session is all about you! You are booked in for one hour during this time our Photographer John will invite you in for your portrait session where he will try out a range of poses for your shoot depending on what you are in for; Family, Kids, Baby etc. This is a stress-free appointment, filled with fun and giggles for you and your family. 

Before you leave we will book you in for your viewing appointment so please bring your diary!

Viewing Appointment 

This appointment is where you will be taken in to our cozy viewing room, to view a stunning slide show of your shoot from your last appointment (You might need your glasses for this one!... and some tissues). This appointment will last approximately an hour. Our Sales director Sarah will then walk you through all of our frame styles and sizes and any offers we have available. When making an order you will be asked to pay on the day as this product is unique to you. 

What to Wear

When it comes to dressing for your shoot we recommend denim and block colours or pale colours. (Blues, Whites etc.) If you wish to wear something with pattern we suggest small patterns where possible. These little details are to create a timeless look in your finished photograph. However at the end of the day this is your portrait that is going to be on your wall so wear whatever you feel reflects you best as a family!

Deposit

When we book you in for your portrait session we take a €50 booking fee. This is to secure your appointment with us. The deposit is taken off your appointment price or if you hold a voucher it will be refunded at your viewing appointment. If you wish you can simply off-set the deposit towards products. Since introducing the deposit our no-show and cancellation rate has dropped significantly. 

*Our appointment price is €100. €50 is paid when booking in for your session and €50 is paid at your appointment. 

Your Finished Product

At John Ryan Photography all of our finished portraits are framed products. We offer a wide variety of traditional and contemporary framed wall art along with a range of desk portraits. We do not  sell loose prints, nor  do we offer digital copies.  

Our Portraits range from €95 and go up to €1,195.
